IELTS for UKVI Life Skills is an English language test for individuals who need to demonstrate their Speaking and Listening abilities for certain UK visa and immigration applications. The test is available at two levels under the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR): A1 and B1.

The test is specifically developed to satisfy UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) language requirements for selected visa routes and immigration applications.

  • IELTS for UKVI Life Skills A1: Suitable for applicants applying for a ‘family of a settled person’ visa.
  • IELTS for UKVI Life Skills B1: Intended for applicants applying for indefinite leave to remain or British citizenship.

You can take the IELTS for UKVI Life Skills test multiple times if required. However, after achieving a pass at a particular level, you cannot retake the test at the same level for two years.

Receive Your Test Result Within Seven Days
